Mediterranean Eco-Tour Program on the Island of Ibiza, Spain
Tourism with a Conscience
The Eco-Tour Program is the perfect opportunity for travelers who are interested in learning more about the environment while spending a week in one of Spain’s most beautiful islands. Only a 45-minute flight from the cities of Madrid and Barcelona, the island of Ibiza is an easily accessible island paradise, which offers beautiful beaches, breath-taking views, and 2,000 years of history.
Tour Overview
A 7-day vacation of excursions, activities and events to give you a fun and inspiring experience of Ibiza.
The Eco-Tour will focus on visits to Ibiza's stunning natural beauty spots and places of special and cultural interest, together with ecological and environmental education from the Greenheart Initiative, exclusive holistic and well-being activities (yoga, pilates, tai chi), plus Drumming Workshops and visits to our specially chosen venues for musical events. There will also be a Spanish language workshop and sessions of Pranic Healing on offer. All this plus a great amount of fun, laughter and essential free time to relax.
At CCI, we believe that a vacation should be a positive, fun experience which is also sensitive to tourism's impact on the environment. Part of the vacation program is dedicated to environmental and ecological learning, so that the group understand the facts. This learning is provided by our Ibiza-based partners, Greenheart, at the wonderful ecology centre, Casita Verde. Additionally, to ensure that Eco-tourists can take part in beneficial ecological activities, there are opportunities to participate in beach-cleaning and recycling, plus help offset their carbon emissions from travel to the vacation destination.
