Language School in Buenos Aires (Ages 18+)

The best way to learn a language is by studying it in a country where it is spoken. In Buenos Aires you can learn to dance the tango and linger in quaint cafes while you perfect your Spanish. This South American capital is distinctly European in flavor. It is often compared to Paris, and it is easy to see why: its cobblestone streets, numerous art museums, and grand, old world architecture recall the City of Light.

The School

The school is located in a 19th century historic landmark building, just a few minutes’ walk from the Plaza de Mayo with its bars, shops and restaurants.

Dates

Beginners and non-beginners may start any Monday year round. Typically, participants arrive on Sunday before classes start, and depart on the Saturday after the Friday class ends.

Accommodations

Participants can choose to stay with a well screened Argentine host family or in residence halls. We highly recommend staying with a host family though! You will be able to put your classroom instruction to practice, and your family can teach you so much about the culture and country, not to mention make you feel more at home in a far away place, all while drinking mate and eating empanadas!
