Language School in China

The best way to learn a language is to study it in the country where it is spoken. CCI’s language school program in China gives you the choice of two exciting locations, Beijing and Shanghai, and includes 20 hours of class per week and a variety of activities and excursions to help you make the most of your Chinese adventure.

Beijing Language School

The City:

As China’s political and cultural capital, Beijing is the ideal place to explore the history of this great civilization as well as witness its future in the making. Stroll through the magnificent gardens of the ancient Summer Palace, explore the opulent Forbidden City, whose 9,000 rooms housed Chinese emperors over a span of 500 years, and tour the Temple of Heaven, the place of worship for emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties. China’s Great Wall, easily accessible from Beijing, dates from the third century B.C. and stretches more than 4,000 miles east to west across China.

The School:

The school is located in a safe area in Beijing’s business district. School facilities include a computer lab with free internet access and a cafeteria. Class sizes are generally 4 to 8 students, with a maximum of 10 students during busy times. Participants must be 18 +.

Accommodation:

Participants stay in shared apartments with full kitchen facilities, free internet access and laundry facilities. The average commuting time to the school is 25 minutes. Private apartments are available for an additional fee.

Non-beginners may start any Monday year round. Beginners may choose from the following start dates:

Shanghai Language School

The City:

Originally a fishing port, Shanghai today is a bustling city with vibrant sights and sounds to see during your next adventure abroad. Regarded as the Paris of the east, the city is a hot spot for high fashion, an abundance of restaurants boasting local and international cuisines, and breath taking architecture.

The School:

Centrally located, the school provides free access to internet, professionally trained teachers, modern facilities, small class sizes and 8 levels of instruction.

Accommodation:

Like in Beijing, participants in Shanghai stay in shared apartments. Accommodations will have full kitchens, free internet and laundry facilities. Private studios are available for an additional fee. Check with CCI for details.
